Fruit Classifier: Teaching a Computer to Know FruitsA Magic box that can look at pictures and classify what kind of fruit it sees, like apples, bananas or oranges.First, I showed the box lots of pictures of fruits and said, “This is an apple,” or “This is a banana.” The box learned by looking at the shapes, colours, and patterns in the pictures. Then, I made it even smarter by giving it tricky pictures, like fruits from different angles or in different sizes.Now, if I show the box a picture of an apple, it can say, “That’s an apple!” It’s like teaching a computer to play “Guess the Fruit,” and it can help sort fruits quickly in places like farms or supermarkets.
